This month marks our 4th anniversary, and what a great four years it has been! THANK YOU!
Some highlights of 2024 include:
Community Outreach- this year, we donated more time and ice cream than ever before! Recipients include Communities in Schools, Elko Hockey Association, Ruby Mountain Rec League, numerous schools, and other non-profit organizations. We donated so many auction baskets we lost count!
You donated over 200 pairs of socks and slippers for our first Socks for Seniors sock drive benefitting the residents at Highland Manor.
We participated in Shop With a Cop, donating nearly 200 cups of ice cream to participating kids and their families
We launched our new homemade waffle cones, house-made non-dairy Freezees, milkshakes, Advent Calendars, and Ice Cream Pies!
You voted us Best Dessert for the 4th year in a row and Favorite Food Truck. Your votes also put us in the top 5 for Best Sandwich.
You supported us in obtaining our liquor license.
Our new "make your own sundae" bar became a popular catering choice.
We organized Spring Creek's first music festival, which benefitted Endless Pawsibilities.
We hosted the area's only Stuff Your Stanley, Ice Cream for Breakfast, and National Banana Split Day!
What's next for 2025? Our new catering trailer and custom freezer cart have opened up additional opportunities for catering and community events. This, combined with the additional house-made ice cream and Freezee flavors means we need additional team members! Are you interested in helping us make the community sweeter? 2025 will bring a few changes. The Elko Food Truck Friday will now be sponsored by Great Basin Community College and will be incorporated into their "Beats & Bites" that happens once a month. Spring Creek Food Truck Friday will still be held at The Hub, with plans for events including live music each month! We will also continue to make new and exciting ice cream flavors, and of course we're working on some other new surprises! We will also be launching what we call "Sassy Shakes," which is one of our delicious shakes with the addition of your favorite alcohol.
